Modélisation spatiale des températures dans le vignoble des coteaux du Layon

A fine networks of thermal data loggers has been set up in a viticultural site of the « Coteaux du Layon » to assess spatial variability of temperature within the vineyard. One part of the study aimed to point out wich local factors prevail in the temperature variability and to establish role and weight of each factors. That is why a multicriteria modeling based on multiple linear regressions has been set up. This modeling has been realized for the daily minimum and maximum temperatures during the 2009 season. Results show more than 70% of the variability of minimum temperatures is explained for 2/3 of the nights and first by the elevation. This result confims frequent thermal inversions in this vineyard. The quality of models for maximum temperatures is widely inferior, proving the complexity of phenomenons involved in this variability. New variables should be added in models and non-linear regressions should be tested in order to improve models quality.
